from my dad’s closet to mine, a rugged wool marled sweater from classic l.l.bean. niknak frequently borrows it (along with some of my other dad-clothing).
but egads! a threadbare hole in the elbow! not much else to do but get some suede patches at windsor button downtown. i was pleased they carried them.

(on a side note, sewing with a normal-but-dinky sewing-kit needle on perforated leather is brutal. lots of tugging and breaking and pricking madness! and takes forever…) which means, the second one is p-e-n-d-i-n-g…
