After moving back to the Boston area two weeks ago after several years “abroad” in San Francisco, I found myself at Island Creek Oyster for the first time (ever). Holy littleneck! We had oysters, steamers, fried clams, and lobster rolls. Now I’m kicking myself for missing this Oyst-ravaganza.
Welcome back to Boston! The fest is a blast, but lucky for everyone, the oyster fest is an annual thing. The beach is beautiful year-round, however… if you haven’t already, take a day-trip to Duxbury and check out where the oysters are born. Let me know if you want to slurp oysters in the city sometime.
